"The Young and the Restless" star Michael Muhney's mother is reportedly disappointed with Y&R fans' reactions and has appealed to them to stop all the negativity. She posted a message for Muhney and Y&R fans on her Twitter account on Jan. 27, 2014 at 2:09 pm. Read on to find out what exactly did she say.

Muhney's mother tweeted the message below:

"Really disappointed in fans negativity and taunting cast, crew and execs at Y&R. Please don't associate that harassment with Michael's name," tweeted Michael's mom.

When one fan tweeted her to ask what is the best thing the fans can do for Michael right now? She replied by quoting Benjamin Franklin's famous quote "Believe none of what you hear and half of what you see," which was also quoted by his son Michael on his own Twitter account.

"Enjoy his work - he put his heart and soul in it. Thank you xo," she added on her Twitter account.

Michael's sister Katy Muhney Joeckel also tweeted her support for her beloved brother. On Jan. 29, 2014, she posted a picture of her and their mom while wearing bracelets in honor of Michael Muhney with the hashtags #ForTheLoveofMuhney and #TeamMuhney, which are reportedly trending on Twitter.

Y&R co-star Sharon Case who made a video tribute for Muhney also tweeted about him.

@michaelmuhney and #billymiller were amazing in today's show @NickShaffer45 — sharon case (@sharonlcase) January 29, 2014

Muhney's fans are said to be planning to fly a second billboard banner in his honor over CBS Studios from 11:45-12:30pm on the last day of his appearance on the show which is Jan. 30, 2014. They even raised $2000 for it to happen. And, they will videotape the said event. After Jan. 30, 2014, they plan to boycott "The Young and the Restless" and not watch it anymore.

Michael Muhney has been accused of sexually harassing co-star Hunter King which was supposedly the reason why he was fired from "The Young and the Restless." However, there were no charges filed against him that's why it's all speculations and rumours.

According to a report from Examiner, Nelson Branco of Soap Opera Uncensored eZine (for subscribers only) said that his sources tell him Michael Muhney did not grope Hunter King.

"Unfortunately, after speaking to several of Muhney's co-stars and backstage crew, it's clear the dangerous game of telephone over at Y&R turned this into the sensational lie that it is," said Branco in the Examiner report.

"A backstage insider told UNCENSORED, "Michael picked a few too many battles, which is why he was let go. It had nothing to do with anything else," added Branco.

Meanwhile, CBS and "The Young and the Restless" haven't said or done anything to clear the air and let people know the real deal behind Muhney and Hunter King's situation.

Now that "The Young and the Restless" star Michael Muhney's mother has already spoken about all the negativity and controversy surrounding her son, hopefully, fans will stop all the bashing and name-calling. Surely, Michael Muhney as well as his family will not be happy about it. To show support for Muhney, maybe it's better to just watch his final episode on Y&R on Jan. 30, 2014 at CBS.
