Valentine's Day is soon approaching and several TV shows have lined up Valentine's Day themed episodes to celebrate the day of love. Fan-favorite day time soap opera "The Young and the Restless," has also planned a grand celebration of Valentine's Day. In recent times, the show has seen lots of ups and downs and tragedies that engulfed the residents of Genoa City. It is time to welcome some love, romance and joyous diversion in "The Young and the Restless." But will the celebration take place without Adam Newman? 'The Young and the Restless' Valentine's Day Spoilers

Recently, a behind-the-scenes "Y&R" promo video was released, which hints a gala event on the occasion of Valentine's Day.

According to the latest spoilers scoop by We Love Soaps, in "The Young and the Restless," Valentine's Day celebrations will begin early on Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014.

Spirit of love and romance will take over Genoa city residents as Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) throw a huge party for friends and family. The gala event will take place at the recently refurbished Genoa City Athletic Club. It will honor Delia Abbott daughter of Billy Abbott and Chloe Abbott who died in a hit and run accident believed to be committed by Adam Newman.

Meanwhile, Billy Abbott (David Tom) looks forward to a fresh start with his wife Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and wants to leave behind the painful past involving their daughter's death and recent car crash accident that supposedly took Adam Newman's life. But there is something that is stopping him in his efforts to new start. It's the haunting memories of "secret indiscretion" with his friend Kelly (Cynthia Watros) which prevents him from focusing on his family life and future with Victoria.

In the meantime, lives of Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) are in the process of a change that will last forever. As hinted by the spoilers report, there will be a turn of events which will bring a massive twist in their lives.

After Victor's truth was unveiled, he wants to make things alright with Nikki. Elsewhere, Colin wants to surprise Jill with memorable evening together.

Meanwhile, fans were given a surprise when Adam Newman's hand was shown sending out signals of life in last week's episode. It meant he is alive and there is more to the character. Fans are eagerly awaiting an update on his reappearance in "The Young and the Restless," but nothing has been revealed by the show makers. It is expected that this year Valentine's Day will be celebrated without fan-favorite character Adam Newman in "Y&R."
