The week on "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) begins with some drama between Joe and Lilly and sees the arrival of Adam Newman in Genoa City. Soap Central has presented some detailed spoilers on the upcoming episodes of CBS' long-running daytime soap opera. According to the report, Lilly informs Joe that Cane does not support the idea of "carving up Genoa City." Meanwhile, Cane offers a proposal to Victor.

The week of Dec. 15 - 19 is going to feature some highly anticipated moments. Fans have been wondering what would happen when Adam and Chelsea will run into each other. Viewers must brace themselves for that moment as Adam Newman "encounters Chelsea" and his son Connor. As per the report, Chelsea "recognises" Adam. Not only that, he even has a conversation with his father Victor Newman in an elevator.

Meanwhile, Dylan and Avery make the big announcement of their engagement and this leaves Joe disturbed. He begs Avery to break her engagement with Dylan and not marry him.
