Picking up from where it left, "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) begins with some drama at the Nick and Sharon's wedding.

Soap Central has presented some detailed spoilers on the upcoming episodes from CBS's long-running daytime soap opera. According to the report, Summer and Noah say some beautiful words in the honor of the bride and groom during the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Phyllis makes a shocking return to Genoa City leaving her loved ones surprised. Nikki discovers Victor is absent from the gathering. This worries her and makes her anxious. Things are not going too smooth for the new bride. Mariah warns her mother of impending danger.

Elsewhere, pregnant Victoria experiences some pains and Billy "leaves Chelsea" and rushes to take care of her. Is Billy still attracted to Victoria? Billy's behaviour confuses and bothers Chelsea and forces her to give it a second thought. Victoria finds herself in a fix when Nick asks her who she wants to be the child's father.

At the same time, Jack's life is rocked by the return of Phyllis. How will Kelly react when she finds out Jack's wife is back? The spoilers suggest that later in the week, Phyllis will come face to face with realities of life.

The duo travels to New York to be with each other. However, Hilary and Devon's intimacy turns out to be destructive for Neil's marriage.

Chelsea utters Adam's name in sleep. This leaves Billy baffled and wondering if she is not yet over her husband. Meanwhile, Billy "struggles" to keep distance from Victoria.

Joe Clark arrives at Genoa City and decides to stay.

Several media outlets are reporting that the month of October will see a death of a well-loved "The Young and the Restless" character. According to Hollywood News Daily, Christian LeBlanc's Michael Baldwin is going to die due to a fatal disease. The report notes that Lauren and Michael will receive the test results with appalling findings. LeBlanc's character will bite the dust after going through some "medical struggles."

Examiner notes that Michael's death is severely going to impact the lives of those who are closed to him including his wife Lauren and beloved friend Phyllis.
