Week of Sept. 8- 12 on "The Young and the Restless" is set to feature some explosive and intriguing episodes that fans won't want to miss. The upcoming episodes will also welcome some fan-favourite characters returning to Genoa City and others making a debut. "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) picks up from where it left last week. The week of Sept. 8- 12 begins with romance between Jack and Kelly.

Soap Central has presented details spoilers for the upcoming episodes of CBS's long-running daytime soap opera. According to the report, things get intense between Jack and Kelly as they take their relationship "to the next level." Kelly moves into Jack's house. However, Jack feels divided between the two women after Phyllis wakes up. Phyllis has lost her memory and Victor is eager to revive it. He is looking for answers that only Phyllis knows.

Meanwhile, Mariah is trying to learn more and more about her long-lost family. She discovers Nick and Sharon are still unmarried. She is curious to know the reason why her parents never got married. Later in the week, Nick asks for Sharon's hand. However, he is oblivious Sharon's hidden truth that holds the power of destructing his relationship and "future" with Sharon.

Elsewhere in Newman house, Nikki and Victor get into a major confrontation. This leaves Nikki disturbed and tempted to go to a bar. In the bar, she meets a woman named Maureen and they "bond over drinks." Maureen and Nikki introduce themselves to each other. Maureen tells her that she is visiting Genoa City to spend some time with her family. As for Nikki, she decides to keep her identity a secret and introduce herself as Sherry to her new friend. While opening up to each other, Nikki "makes a revealing slip."

Ian went missing last week and left everyone wondering. Paul believes that the man chose to disappear in order to "avoid prosecution." Later during the investigation in Newman house, Paul finds "two sets of bloody footprints." He suspects Dylan of helping Ian in his mission. During the week, Paul has many challenges to face. His relationship with Ricky has hit rock bottom and it starts to show in his "anxious" behaviour.

Elsewhere, Winters family welcomes Malcolm. Everyone in Neil's family including Malcolm is trying to keep him comfortable. But he hates the feeling of being dependent and "resents everyone" trying to assist him in his chores. During the week, Neil has to deal with a "dark personal issue" and Malcolm helps him to accept the reality and move forward in life.

Chelsea returns from her so-called business trip and Phyllis comes back to "reality."

Furthermore, We Love Soaps has also presented detailed spoilers from Sept. 8-12 episodes of "The Young and the Restless." According to the report, the week begins with Summer and Mariah's major confrontation and Victoria finds herself in an awkward situation at her workplace.

Besides Eileen Davidson's Ashley's, Shemar Moore is going to return as Malcolm and visit his longtime friend Paul.
