Following a series of shocking revelations on “The Young and the Restless” (YR), viewers are in for unlikely alliances and dirty plans for the episode to be aired on Thursday.

The synopsis in Soaps She Knows gives out some clues as to what will happen in August 4. It first says that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) forms an unlikely alliance with Nick (Joshua Morrow). Things get a little bit heavy as Lily (Christel Khalil) plots against Hilary (Mishael Morgan). Lastly, Billy (Jason Thompson) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) find themselves struggling to work together.

From what has been revealed, it appears that Phyllis will still be in a whirlpool of heavy drama as she and Nick are up to something yet to be known. A closer look into this is reported by Celeb Dirty Laundry , which might show what exactly happens in the upcoming episode .

It is worth noting that , lately, Nick has been quite restless in his search for Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) diary entries. This is so that he could provide evidence for Adam’s (Justin Hartley) ongoing legal battle, that he may be acquitted. He has sought the help of a lot of people in finding the journal, including Victor (Eric Braeden) and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) who might know where they are. What Phyllis has to offer Nick, or if it goes both ways is yet to be revealed in the upcoming episode.

Lily, on the other hand, does not quite take her situation lightly since she will be plotting against Hilary. The two have been having what seems to be a messy love-hate relationship as they have been recently seen in a lot of confrontations of all sorts. From what has been teased, it looks like their cold situation is about to get even worse.

Lastly, Billy, after finding himself in a messy situation with Phyllis, finds some discomfort in having to work with Cane.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
