'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for Dec 12: Hilary and Mariah’s rivalry might ruin Chelsea’s fashion show; new actors join soap

This week of December on “The Young and the Restless,” Devon (Steve Burton) will request Mariah (Camryn Grimes) to host “GC Buzz” for Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) next fashion show. Hilary (Mishael Morgan), however, will try to convince Devon (Bryton James) that Mariah will be a huge failure as host. She will go on to attempt to destroy Mariah’s first day as host. On the other hand, Hilary will fight back after realizing that Mariah will substitute her as host.

On Monday, December 12, Nick will visit Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) at work. Sharon (Sharon Case), Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Chelseawill get ready to showcase the new line for the first time. The rivalry between Hilaryand Mariahwill take on a whole new level. Hilary will warn Mariah that she have troubles on camera. The former will advise Mariah to simply walk away while she still has the chance. Jack (Peter Bergman) will think about taking on a new risky business venture.

Hilary announces that Chelsea’s fashion show will be aired live, which could mean trouble for Mariah. However, the latter will confirm that she will host it anyway. Mariah will model one of Chelsea’s dress. Things are expected to go wrong during the huge event as the feud between the two intensifies. Sharon and Dylanwill notice something that will shock them while looking at a monitor at the fashion show. Hilary will declare that she is an independent woman, and Devon will also go to certain lengths for Hilary.

As for Jack, he will consider a risky new business. Jack will talk to Ashley about Fenmore’s challenges during the year, writes Soap Central, and the latter will be shocked after knowing that Jack is planning to take over Fenmore’s by force.

“The Young and the Restless” news also revealed that Tristan Lake Leabu has been cast as Reed Hellstrom. Dax Randall was cast as Moses Winters, Neil’s son. Erika Girardi will appear on the December 15 episode as Farrah Duboise. Beth Maitland will reprise her role as Traci. Judith Chapman will reprise her role as Gloria Bardwell. Aileen Quinn will have a cameo appearance during a musical performance on Christmas Eve.
