“The Young and the Restless” episode for July 1 involves making announcements and revelations by key characters such as Victor, Sharon and Adam.

This particular episode will put the spotlight on Sharon (Sharon Case). Viewers will see her encounter some trouble. However, she will not have any other opponent but herself and will be buckling under pressure as she feels that she is stuck in a corner, Soaps She Knows says. She feels this way because of Sage’s (Kelly Sullivan) ghost.

For the past few episodes, it was seen that Sage’s ghost had been harassing Sharon and haunting her. It seems that Sharon wants her ghost sightings to stop already and live in peace. Now, she is pushed to a point where she wants to come clean and confess that she took Sage’s baby, thinking that telling the truth is the only way for Sage to stop haunting her.

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) is willing to help Sharon come clean to her husband and everyone else. However, Sharon has been having severe attacks, as well, with her condition. This made matters worse as she was seen to be skipping medication to control her depression and hallucinations. As her state worsens and Sage’s appearances happen more often, it is speculated that Mariah’s help may be too late.

Back in the courthouse, Adam’s (Justin Hartley) trial ensues. It is still a question on who framed Adam. During this episode it is teased that something unexpected will happen in connection to his trial. It is unknown if the event will have a positive or negative effect on his case. However, there are many speculations that what he will be receiving is bad news. In return, Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) will do all it takes to protect Adam, Soap Opera Spy writes.

Another highlight of the episode will be about Victor. It is said that he will make an announcement and everyone will be shocked. What the announcement is about is yet to be known. There are speculations that it has something to do with his family or his secret accomplice.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every 12:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
