'The Young and the Restless' (YR) spoilers for June 6, 2016: More lies, drug drama and a major brain tumour operation

“The Young and the Restless” ("Y&R") episode on June 6 focuses on Hilary and Devon’s relationship, along with the lies made along the way. The plot also delves into an emotional brain tumour operation on Max.

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) would be pushing for the release of Dr. Neville’s (Michael E. Knight) protocol. He would also learn that his protocol is for a temporary duration only. Also, Dr. Neville would suddenly realize that Hilary is relapsing. They would have some conflict as Hilary does not want to change the date for the drug’s release even if she has been warned, Soaps She Knows writes.

Also, Billy (Jason Thompson) would have no clue that Bethany (Chrishell Stause) will show up in the hospital. He would be taken off guard when she tells him that Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) told her everything she needed to know.

More so, a concerned Neil (Kristoff St. John) would talk to Devon (Bryton James). He warns him that it seems Hilary is aiming to push the release of Neville’s drug through too fast. He would elaborate on how dangerous this could be and how it would put the lives of other people at risk.

Hilary does not tell Devon the truth about the drug. Now, he would wonder how much he is willing to forgive her, Soap Central notes.

The episode would also showcase Max (Jared Breeze) being diagnosed having brain tumor. Abby (Emme Rylan) figures out Max’s previous behaviour and realizes that the brain tumour may be the cause. Now, Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Abby have to face difficult decision regarding Max’s well-being. They would have to decide if they would have the boy undergo operation or not. Eventually, Stitch will make a desperate move and gives the go signal for the risky surgery. As the boy will be prepared for surgery, Abby would join Stitch.

Lastly, Phyllis gets jealous. He is affected when he sees Billy accompanying Bethany.

Looking back on the previous episode on June 3, Adam’s (Michael Muhney) scheme caused concern. He was then arrested for murdering Constance Bingham. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) was seen risking everything to save her family.
