"The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) remains pre-empted on Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 and Friday, Sept. 5 due to the broadcast of the U.S. Open Tennis Tournament. However, fans are not going to miss any new episode. The show will resume on Tuesday, Sept. 2.

The week of Sept. 1 on "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) begins from where it left off. Soap Central has presented a detailed spoilers report.

The report hints that the week begins with Phyllis returning to consciousness. Not waiting too long, Victor quickly gets to question Phyllis in the hospital. He is eager to find out answers about "Sharon's secret."

Last week fans saw how Ian forced Mariah to marry him. This week, however, his "past" starts to come back and haunt him. Meanwhile, Sharon and Nick reach Mariah and quickly take her to the hospital. Mariah expresses her gratitude to Nick and acknowledges his help. At the same time, Sharon tries to pacify her and tells her that they will take care of her. Sharon's behaviour leaves Mariah surprised. The girl then informs them about Ian's wrongdoings and her forceful marriage to him. Later, Sharon talks to Mariah and tells her the truth. Sharon informs Mariah that she is her actual mother and not Helen Copeland.

Ian's schemes begins to fail. He accuses Nikki for ruining his plans. To even scores with her, Ian visits Nikki at her home. He carries a syringe with him and "scares her." Meanwhile, Dylan calls her mother and finds out she is in danger. Dylan informs his father about Nikki's situation. As for Ian, he vanishes from the scene and there is reportedly a long list of "suspects."

Elsewhere, Jack and Kelly move in together at Jack's place. Lauren and Michael face a difficult phase in their married life.

Meanwhile, Ashley comes back to the city. However, she has a business agenda on mind. She presents a proposal to Stitch. At the same time, Ashley's return aggravates problems between Billy, Victoria and Stitch.
