On Tuesday, September 27, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will pay a visit to a GC Buzz producer. That producer will be played by no other than “Married with Children” star David Faustino, who plays Bud Bundy on the show. Faustino will appear as Howard Green, the TV producer behind Genoa City’s local tabloid GC Buzz, writes Soaps She Knows.
Since “Married With Children” ended way back in 1997, Faustino has been seen in many different projects including “Entourage,” “The Help,” and lent his voice to a character in “Legends of Korra.” Another star, Nichelle Nicols, is also reported to guest in “The Young and the Restless” this September as well.
The episode synopsis also says that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will arrive at the club together just when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) offers Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) something. Victor will make some big changes to his company. Victoria will form alliance with someone. Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will find himself ending up in a compromise.
GC Buzz came into the picture when Jack was accused of domestic violence as it published the story. Devon tried to bribe the GC Buzz reporter but this did not fix the situation in fact, it led to even more headlines. Devon will decide to buy GC Buzz as a gift for Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan).
While Devon initially wanted to sue to tabloid, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) told him that such action would aggravate the situation so he pulled out his checkbook to take care of the problem. Spoilers reveal that Hilary’s career in the media will turn bad really fast.
“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
