It's quite evident that Miley Cyrus is really famous for reckless and bad girl image and no one is oblivious to her controversial antics. "Hunger Games" actress Jennifer Lawrence opened up in public and spoke her mind out about her co-star Liam Hemsworth's ex girlfriend Miley Cyrus' controversial antics.

The Oscar winning actress Jennifer Lawrence dissed Miley Cyrus after she triggered another controversy with her skimpy clothes, twerk acts and smoking-joint stunt at MTV EMA 2013. Not too impressed by her co-star's ex-girlfriend, Jennifer expressed her disagreement with Miley's behavior and her "sex sells" mentality. Her candid comments were noted in an interview at her latest film "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire's" premiere.

In an interview with Zoe Conway for BBC's "Newsnight" she was asked about her opinion on the sexualization of young women in the entertainment industry.

"I don't really worry about it. It's definitely something that's just kind of a part of this world," said "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" actress Jennifer Lawrence.

"It is a part of the entertainment industry that sells. Sex sells, and for some disgusting reason young sex sells even more," she continued.

She definitely didn't mention Miley Cyrus' name directly, but it is speculated that her opinion is based on her antics only.

And she ends at leaving it to the choices and judgments made by people.

"Everybody's got their own path and they've got their own way of finding themselves," she explained. "For some people, that's how they feel best, that's how they feel sexy and that's how they want to perform . . . to each their own," she explains.

About her role as Katniss Everdeen in "Hunger Games" movies, Jennifer Lawrence hopes that she is setting an example and encouraging young women to value the character and its strengths and not what shows at the outside.

"Growing up I didn't have a female hero the way that Katniss is and I think she's a wonderful role model for young girls. I'm happy that they have a character like that," said Jennifer Lawrence.

According to HollywoodLife.com, a source has revealed that "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" star Jennifer Lawrence dissed Miley Cyrus because she was siding for friend Liam Hemsworth.

"Jennifer is definitely on Team Liam so when she answered the question, Liam was in her thoughts. Jennifer wants to stick up for her friends and this was one way to do that," revealed a source to HollywoodLife.com.
