Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez are heating things up in Sardinia. The pair were spotted hopping on a boat in Sardinia, Italy, last week. The pair were spotted on vacation enjoying the European summer sun and warm Mediterranean waters.

Photos from the trip showed the 36-year-old "Fast and the Furious" actress wearing a black bikini paired with white shorts. "Bad Neighbors" star Zac Efron kept it modest in a white shirt and light grey jeans, keeping his famous abs hidden from view.

Sardinia is a well-known millionaire's playground and is the second largest island in the Mediterranean next to Sicily. Celebrities, royalty, and the rich and famous are frequently seen rubbing elbows with each other in and around the island in their luxury yachts.

The actors were spotted hanging out together just days after reports came out that Zac is still in love with his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens whom he dated in 2006 to 2010. He is showing he's out to have some fun with or without a romantic interest with him, as he and the openly lesbian Rodriguez are clearly only friends.

Rodriguez had been dating British supermodel Cara Delevigne until reports of their break up surfaced last month. Zac meanwhile, had most recently been linked to his "Bad Neighbors" co-star Halston Stage. The relationship was never confirmed, however, and they have not been spotted together since April.

Efron and Rodriguez have been staying on vacation as guests of Italian entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi.

Vacchi is a successful entrepreneur and financier. His online profile states he is the President of SEA Società Europea Autocaravan S.p.A. He's also a member of the Board of Directors in several investment companies in Italy.

Despite his serious business background, Vacchi knows how to lighten things up and party. He posted a video on his Instagram account apparently from the same trip with Efron, Rodriguez and his girlfriend, Giorgia Gabriele, sitting on a dock in swimwear. Rodriguez can be seen showing off her yoga moves in a headstand.

In another video, Efron is seen dancing to Jason Derulo's "Wiggle" with dancer Youssef Giga.
