Hollywood heartthrob Zac Efron was spotted kissing "Fast and the Furious" actress Michelle Rodriguez on a boat in Sardinia, Italy. The pictures have leaked out on Sunday after Twitter user Calvin Stowell who uses the handle @aurosan posted them on his account with the caption: "michelle rodriguez and zac efron are the weirdest couple ever... i don't get it... " The pair have been reported to be on vacation in Italy for over a week now.

Efron and Rodriguez were spotted last week flying into Sardinia on a private plane and then boarding a boat while on what initially looked like a friendly vacation together. Rodriguez was previously in an open lesbian relationship with model Cara Delevigne before reports of their split came out about a month ago. With Rodriguez' lesbian sexuality out in the open, the Hollywood pair's vacation in Italy seemed completely friendly until the shocking photos came out.

Efron for his part, had been dating his "High School Musical" co-star Vanessa Hudgens from the moment he came into the spotlight as a teenager up until 2010. He has since been linked to several actresses but has never been confirmed to be in a relationship with any of them. Some of the actresses linked to him include Lily Collins and "Bad Neighbors" co-star Halston Sage.

Photos of Efron and Rodriguez have been coming out over the span of approximately two weeks hanging out in Italy as guests of Italian entrepreneur Gianluca Vacchi who first posted videos in his Instagram account welcoming the pair of actors to his estate. The first video showed the Italian businessman with his girlfriend Giorgia Gabriele sitting on a dock with Efron and Rodriguez who was doing a yoga headstand. Vacchi also posted a video of Efron dancing to Jason Derulo's song "Wiggle."

Other bits and pieces of the vacation have been documented by Vacchi which he has so generously been sharing via his Instagram account including most recently, videos of himself and Zac doing workouts together with a pair of weights and doing back flips off a boat into the ocean.

The recent development with the pictures of Efron and Rodriguez kissing and being affectionate shows that what initially looked like a fun getaway among friends could be heating up into something else.
