Zendaya has dropped the highly anticipated trailer of "Euphoria" Season 2 along with its official release date.

The trailer, which runs for a minute and 13 seconds, begins with the Emmy award-winning actress dancing in her bedroom to Michel Bublé's 2007 track "Call Me Irresponsible."

The 25-year-old actress then says, "When you're younger, everything feels so permanent but as you get older, you begin to realize... nothing is."

Meanwhile, the visuals show teens dancing, partying, drinking and taking selfies.

"And everyone you love can drift away," she adds as action-packed scenes, including that of Zendaya getting kidnapped, appear on the screen.

At the end of the clip, Zendaya's friend asks if she is high and the actress replies, "I mean..." while shrugging her shoulders.

"Euphoria" Season 2 is slated for release on Jan. 9, 2022, on HBO Max.

Fans took to the comments section to share their reactions to the trailer.

One of them noticed a character introduced in the series and shared screenshots from the trailer. Another fan replied to these screenshots, noting, "Came in to replies to see if anyone else noticed him yet but I'm pretty sure thats dominic fike."

Another fan shared a screenshot of the scene in which Zendaya is being attacked by a middle-aged woman and wrote, "Whoever you are, know that i will find you."

"Euphoria" tells the story of a group of teenage students who struggle with finances, social media, drugs and love.

Its first season, which dropped in August 2019, featured Storm Reid, Eric Dane, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Angus Cloud and Alexa Demie. Fans have been patiently waiting for the series' second season since Season 1 wrapped up.

Zendaya's performance in the series has been well-received. In fact, she won an Emmy under the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series category.

Besides the series, Zendaya will also be seen in Marvel's highly anticipated movie "Spider-Man: No Way Home," which is slated for release on Dec. 11. The movie, which is currently under post-production, also stars Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, Willem Dafoe, Jamie Foxx and Jamie Foxx.

The actress will also feature in the movies "Dune: Part Two" and "Megalopolis."
