The star-studded cast of the new comedy "Zookeper" arrived in its Los Angeles premiere, along with the animatronic gorilla "Bernie" who also stars in the feature.

"Zookeeper" is the latest comedy of Adam Sandler's production company Happy Madison and features his "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry" co-star Kevin James as the lead actor. The animals, which include a wolf, a giraffe, a gorilla, a crow, an ostrich, a lion, a frog, an elephant and a monkey, are voiced by some of the best actors in the industry. Sylvester Stallone gave Joe the Lion a action star personality, while acclaimed actor Nick Nolte is the man behind the animatronic gorilla. Other stars who provided their voices for the movie are Cher, Sandler, director Judd Apatow, John Favreau, Maya Rudolph and Bas Rutten. Actors who did live performing roles were Rosario Dawson, breakthrough comedian Ken Jeong, "Popular" star Leslie Bibb and "Band of Brothers" actor Donnie Wahlberg.

"Zookeeper" premieres on July 8th in the US and on September 8th in Australia.
