'The 100' season 6: Clarke to have 'complicated relationship' with new character
There will be a new community the heroes will encounter in “The 100” season 6. “Teen Wolf” actor J.R. Bourne has been cast as a leader of this new group, and Clarke (Eliza Taylor) will have a “complicated relationship” with this new character.
According to a report by EntertainmentWeekly, Bourne is playing a character called Russell. The new character has been described as “a charismatic leader, a visionary and pioneer who will face the difficult moral choices emblematic of the hard-hitting show.”
Russell is the leader of a “peaceful society.” He will get to meet Clarke at some point in time, and the two will share a “complicated relationship.”
Clarke, along with Bellamy (Bob Morley),is the leader of the last surviving members of the doomed planet Earth. In the season 5 finale, the survivors were seen near a new habitable planet. All the survivors were on a ship in space, and most of them were still in cryosleep.
The new community that the heroes will encounter in the next season should be on this new planet. This makes Clarke and the others the new Skykru and the inhabitants of the new planet as the Grounders.
While the plot of the last season focussed on two groups fighting over Eden, the last inhabitable valley on Earth, the next season may be about whether two groups will be willing to share the same planet.
Clarke and her group may be seen as invaders, so it remains to be seen how Russell and his community will respond. What will also be interesting to see is the level of technological advancement of this new community.
“The 100” season 6 is set to air sometime in 2019. The producers are yet to announce an exact release date. More casting and filming details of the show can be expected in the coming weeks and months.
