2 Ways iPhone 6S Release Date Will Outperform iPhone 6: Force Touch Intro & Pink Colour Option
Will the iPhone 6S on release date eclipse that of the iPhone 6 achievements? It will be a tall order for the sequel to do better than its immediate predecessor but the 2015 Apple smartphone flagship is likely packing the key killer features that really matter to users.
According to The Motley Fool, two likely feature upgrades that 6S will deliver later this 2015 bear the potential to hit big with global consumers. Much like the jumbo iPhone 6 Plus was readily embraced by Apple and Android fans alike, the additions below could make the 6S another phenomenal money-maker for Apple:
Force Touch leads to unlimited possibilities
Persistent rumours are suggesting that the next iPhone will borrow a notable feature that will be introduced with the Apple Watch this coming April – Force Touch. Force Touch in the iOS smartwatch is designed for users to easily interact with the device as the feature can intelligently detect motions and gestures. If indeed the Apple Watch is capable of separating the meaning of soft tap and hard press, then the wearable device make a unique gadget that users wound find irresistible.
Extended to the iPhone 6S, the benefits to smartphone users remain unclear but one door to open is better mobile gaming experience, The Motley Fool report said. Or the core purpose, perhaps, is to make the Apple Watch pairing with the iPhone as smooth as possible.
Either way, the prospects are rosy for the iPhone maker. Levelled up gaming promised on the next iPhone would lure in casual and even curious gamers. And glitch-free functions between the Apple Watch and the iPhone 6S and vice versa point to high sales numbers. For the tech giant, that would mean cash haul in the making.
Pink is the next Gold iPhone
It may sound too cute for Apple but the iPhone 6S in pink could, in fact, prove prettier and more profitable. Case in point, according to The Motley Fool, was the iPhone 5S that was first wrapped in champagne gold. No one had expected it but the colour option when rolled out with the 5S turned out more popular than the classic white, silver and grey – all of which are signature iOS device colours.
Now with the 6S being an S-phase, which reads no big hardware and design leaps, why not offer it in pink. Such move could make the iPhone 6 replacement not only a top-draw but also a crowd favourite, in the same manner that the gold iPhone 5S had shown in late 2013.
These predictions will be proven accurate or wrong later this 2015. The iPhone 6S release date is not happening until the last few months of the year with September as the most solid candidate for an early outing.
