Here are some new problems seen for the iOS 7. Also, check out the newest feature that could turn your iPhone into your very own handheld gaming device.

Auto app update isn't all it's up to be

Having your apps automatically updated seem like a convenience, but in reality, it can actually tamper with your own settings and have you resort to data backup recovery.

ZDNet reports that while this does not always happen, there is a big chance that putting an automatic update will let you miss some crucial messages. In some app updates, you will be notified if stored data may be lost during the process. Manually updating this app would have allowed you to monitor this potential loss of data and be prepared.

If you were actually excited about and still prefer automatic app updating, then the best thing to do is to make sure that you have the best kind of data backup. This way, you can protect your data from getting all messed up or being lost.

iMessage stops working

Communication on the iOS is more than just calling, texting, and chatting online--Apple has its own, less costly way of communicating via iMessage to those who also have an iOS device.

But if you had upgraded to the iOS 7, you may notice that this privilege stopped, and that you may have resorted to going back to the traditional means of connecting with friends.

To get back the iMessage, you should first check the service. According to Gotta Be Mobile, you should toggle the service from on, then off, then on through the Settings à Messages à Toggle iMessage. Wait for some time before turning it on again to see if rebooting can work. Shutting down the device can also be an equivalent fix.

One last wayto do it would be the Toggle the iMessage off, check Settings à General à Reset. Select that and then go to Reset Network Settings. You'll see the lock screen afterwards. Check if your iMessage is finally working.

Siri opens your phone to strangers

When people learned that Siri could be used to let other people access your personal contacts and messages, the iOS 7.0.2 suddenly became one of the worst updates around. The steps towards doing so were listed by The Register, and it has turned the iOS 7 into something that is more vulnerable than its predecessor.

For now, there are no ways to load on protection for your phone, which is why more people are awaiting a new update from Apple. The company still holds the no downgrade policy for those who have already gone with the iOS 7.

The iOS 7 Controller

Even before its release, the iOS 7 seemed to be the operating that is friendly to gamers. Given the Control Center and a more direct and uniform way to create games, you can expect more developers to roll out games for the iOS 7 once it stabilises.

The biggest addition now to the iOS 7 is the leaked Logitech controller care of @evleaks. This would allow gamers to actually play games on their iPhones in the same way that they would with a handheld gaming device, a seen in the image.

It looks like a pretty clean and ergonomic way to play games when on the commute, and if there are more good games that come out for the iOS 7, especially those which have been optimised for gamepad support, this can entice a whole new market of gamers or even open a new world to casual gamers.
