Ever wondered what it would be like if "Dragonball's" Son Goku battled with "Yu Yu Hakusho's" (or "Ghost Fighter," for the West) Yuusuke? Or how about a showdown between "One Piece's" Luffy and the ninja star Naruto would end up?

"J-Stars Victory Vs," a new fighting game, will give you the chance to take your favorite Weekly Shonen Jump heroes, control them and their powers in a video game, and face them off with other heroes from your favorite Japanese shounen manga and anime.

First showcased at the Tokyo Game Show 2013, "J-Stars Victory Vs" was also announced to have a multi-player gameplay, as can be seen in this trailer. It's reminiscent of old arcade fighting games, where you have the split screen mode as you battle it out with your team on either side of the screen.

Meet the New Faces and Heroes of 'J-Stars Victory Vs'

After adding names here and there, the official Facebook page of J-Stars Victory Vs finally released a lineup of heroes, with accompanying descriptions for those who may not know them as well as the others.

At the lead is Monkey D. Luffy, potentially one of the most known characters, and one who aims to become the Pirate King in "One Piece."

Another hero that almost any 90s baby would be able recognise is Son Goku, the super saiyan and lead hero in "Dragon Ball Z."

One of the four heavenly kings and a big lover of food is Tokriko, decking his trademark blue hair and big muscles.

The then-temp shinigami turned badass Bankai wielder, Kurosaki Ichigo is also joining the squad. Make good use of his Zanpakuto during fights.

The ninja who dreams of becoming Hokage and has an infinite love of ramen--Uzumaki Naruto.

The samurai who used to strike fear in the hearts of many as the ruthless killer Himura Battosai is actually a soft-hearted goofball known as Kenshin Himura. That doesn't mean he can't do his Hiten Mitsurugiryu without striking awe in anyone who sees it.

When he's not devising ways to make money or buying toys and gadgets, Kankichi Ryotsu can pack and display superhuman strength and stamina that can sometimes get the ladies' attention.

The lead in "Hunter x Hunter" and the son of a famous hunter, Gon Freecss is ready to pursue the journey given to him. He's also ready to show you his Jajanken in battle.

Teenage delinquent turned spirit detective when he saves a child from an accident, Yusuke Urameshi came back to the human world having more power than before and an even meaner Raygun.

And who can forget the other samurai among the heroes, one who was feared by Amanto (aliens) and his own friends from the war in Gintama--who else but Gintoki Sakata? He's the man who loves his strawberry milk and sweets, has been throwing around his troll face since 2006, but remains loyal to his friends - a true (space) samurai.

More Gameplays for 'J-Stars Victory Vs'

The new battle brawler for the PS3 and PS Vita seems to be one of the most-awaited games to hit Japan--and hopefully, in other territories outside of it.

Some gameplays were already released at the Tokyo Game Show 2013, but there are new ones as well.

"J-Stars Victory Vs" is one of the celebratory offerings for the 45th anniversary of Shonen Jump, a manga magazine in Japan. It is set to release on the PS3 and PS Vita, with no word yet on a release outside of Japan.
