Apple recently launched its flagship smartphones - iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Thus, buyers can expect the iPad 5 release date very soon.
Last week, alleged photos of iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 leaked online that hinted on the potential tablet designs. The iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C boast new features that provided hints on the possible specs and features of the upcoming iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2.
Based on the latest note of KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has proven to be credible with regards to Apple-related rumors, new iPads will come in Q4 2013. Moreover, Kuo said that the initial production of iPad models will become full scale on the fourth quarter. Some reports also claimed that the iPad 5 release date will be in October.
Kuo said that the iPad 5 features will include an A7 processor, support for 4G/LTE connection, 5,MP rear shooter and internal storage up to 128 GB. However, Apple has not confirmed the iPad 5 release date as well as the iPad 5 features rumors.
Below are the possible features and upgrades that consumers will most likely see on the October release date of the two iPads.
A7X Processor - It is most probable that the iPad 5 will get an upgrade to 64-bit A7 chip processor. The upgrade on the processor will optimize the gaming purposes of the device.
TDD-LTE Wireless Tech - Kuo predicted that the fifth generation of iPad will include a TDD-LTE wireless technology. This feature is compatible with China Mobile's network service.
Fingerprint Sensor - One of the most intriguing features of the iPhone 5S is the fingerprint sensor technology embedded on the home button. This feature will replace the "slide to unlock" feature and passcodes of previous iPhones.
M7 Chip - The iPhone 5S is packed with the M7 chip, which is a motion co-processor that will track the movements of users.
Improved Camera Software - Apple did not increase the megapixels of the camera of the company's smartphones. However, this may also be the case of the iPad 5. With this, low-light sensitivity would be improved, and the camera could feature burst mode and slow-motion capabilities.
iOS 7 - Apple also announced that it will roll out iOS 7 for the iPad. The latest operating system includes new software features like iTunes Radio and enhanced notifications.
Longer Battery Life - It is expected that Apple will include longer battery life. This will complement the Retina display and A7X processor packed in the tablet.
