Adam Ant, the 1980s prince of new wave pop is set for Australia as one of his comeback tours come March.

His band, Adam and The Ants, enjoyed two straight years of music success especially with hits like 'Goody Two Shoes,' 'Prince Charming,' 'Stand and Deliver,' and 'Ant Music.'

But if you were not born in the 80's era, then what else is there to know about Adam Ant?

After their band split in year 1982, he became one of the first ever video jocks of then launched Music Television or MTV, an opportunity which also served as springboard to his acting career in both the big screen and the television.

During the early parts of the 90's, he decided to revive his music career only to be stopped by incidents which led him to be checked in for psychiatric care. He courageously shared in 'Stand and Deliver,' an autobiography, that he has always been diagnosed to be suffering from bipolar disorder and has been battling this sickness for a long time.

Now, at 57, the 80s icon is set to return and perform up on stage with his brand new band called The Good, The Mad and The Lovely Posse. During his last performance with his band in UK last year, good reviews were given that created a demand for him to pursue his music tour.

Adam Ant and his band is set to play at the Enmore Theatre by March 23 and will also do a promotional tour around Melbourne and Sydney.
