Robert Pattinson's ex, Kristen Stewart may have once admitted that sex with the British hunk on the steamy scene in The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 was "awful" but stunning 90210 actress, Jessica Lowndes doesn't share her thoughts on sex. The hot starlet reveals her secret to a head-turner and great looking body - - a wonderful sex workout. Talk about hitting two birds in one stone!

In a recent interview with British magazine, The Star, Jessica joked that indeed, sex is a “wonderful workout,” noting how love has made a great impact on her health and keeping her more fit than her usual self.

"Yes [laughs], sex is definitely a wonderful workout," Jessica was quoted as saying with all smiles while being interviewed by the British magazine.

She added, “It's a very healthy part of your lifestyle and it gives you a nice glow. It burns calories, too. I would never just have sex instead of exercising, but it's definitely a bonus."

Thom Evans is certainly a lucky man. Jessica is dating the former rugby player, and it looks like the hunk athlete has no complaints. Jessica Lowndes has always been turning heads on the red carpet for her great-looking body. She noted, however, that while she enjoyed her workout routine, Jessica said that she takes things in moderation, adding that she doesn’t push herself when working out.

"I think it's important to stay active. I try to work out two or three times a week, but it's not always possible, especially if I'm on set so early," Jessica said.

She added, "I go through health kicks, but don't kill myself if I can't get to the gym. I'm always on the go, which helps, and eat healthily. It's about balance. I really enjoy hitting the gym, though, as I like the release that you get from exercising. It's therapeutic."

Jessica is not alone on her view of sex and how it benefits one’s health and body. Recent studies show that indeed a great sex life, leads to one’s healthy and happy life.

A recent study by researchers from the University of Munster in Germany revealed that “sexual activity may relieve severe headaches.” According to a report by The Huffington Post, university researchers tested their hypothesis that the “long-been anecdotal evidence” that sex relieved headaches, particularly those suffering from chronic migraine.

To test their hypothesis, the researches sent out surveys and mailed 800 respondents known to be suffering from migraine or headaches and 200 respondents reported to be suffering from cluster headaches. Citing a report by Live Science, The Huffington Post noted the report that 40 per cent of these respondents emailed back the completed questionnaires.

The Question: Respondents were asked how the headaches they were suffering from have changed when they engage in sexual activity while suffering from chronic pain.

The Result: “Of the migraine sufferers who engaged in sexual activity during their migraines, 60 per cent said that their pain was relieved afterward and one-third said that their pain worsened, reported LiveScience, noted Huffington Post. Those suffering from cluster headaches were less likely to report that sex helped relieve their headaches. Only one-third said that sexual activity lessened their pain, while 50 per cent reported that it made things worse.”
