Adele’s First Album Was Inspired After Being Dumped by Bisexual Lover
She's one of the biggest selling artists today and has admitted to using her heartbreaks in love as inspiration for her songs. It's now revealed that Adele kicked off her career at 19 when she made her debut album inspired by a failed relationship with her bisexual lover.
Most of Adele's over popularized songs is about heartbreak, you can refer to "Someone Like You" or "Rolling in the Deep." But her misery in love is the same inspiration she used to write her debut album which started her successful career.
According to her new biography, Adele declared her romantic feelings towards a man but he ran away with one of her gay friends after merely four hours. "Adele: The Biography" was written by Marc Shapiro which also tells about the singer's childhood in North London.
Shapiro particularly tackles the ups and downs of Adele's love life. He also revealed the incident on the singer's 18th birthday, when she got he heart broken.
"One thing we know. Is that it was a first love gone terribly bad. Adele had professed her love and he did the same, she had known he was bisexual but, in the rush of romance, felt they could make it work," Shapiro penned.
"Four hours after laying their emotional cards on the table, the boy ran off with one of Adele's gay friends."
Despite what he did, Adele and the mystery man tried to make the relationship work. But then after four months of cheating on her, the singer couldn't take it anymore.
Adele who even shared her drama on her official page says that her debut album was about love. She revealed that it was about the boy she was in love with, who also happens to be bisexual.
"Daydreamer is about this boy I was in love with, like proper in love with, he was bi and I couldn't deal with that," she said.
"All the things I wanted from my boyfriend, he was never going to be, I get really jealous anyway, so I couldn't fight with girls and boys."
"Adele: The Biography" is scheduled for release on July 17.
