Rumors about Johhny Depp and Amber Heard's relationship are heating up after the actor allegedly bought Amber a horse, following his split from long-time partner Vanessa Paradis.

The two met while filming "The Rum Diary" and since then, they have appeared to be close. Amber, who is openly bisexual has been a "regular visitor" on set of Johnny Depp's latest movie project, "The Lone Ranger," in New Mexico.

Johnny Depp made an official statement last Tuesday that he had split from his partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis. According to a report from Globe magazine, the actor bought Amber Heard a horse so that they can ride together.

A source even claims that the actor was smitten the first time he saw the actress and reportedly said that it was like seeing an old movie star like Lauren Bacall. Amber previously worked as a model before landing small parts in movies and finally co-starring with Johnny Depp in "The Rum Diary."

When asked about her role as Johnny Depps' love interest in "The Rum Diary," Amber described it as "the best experience of my life."

"He's such a wonderful presence. He is enigmatic and compelling and a true artist, seriously intelligent and incredibly sensitive. Everybody on set respects and likes him, which says a lot about an actor," she said. "It's a grueling job at times and the stress level that everybody feels in the industry is intense - but it doesn't affect Johnny. It seems like he has time to look everybody in the eye and I like that, it was wonderful to see."

Rumors about their relationship carried on when a number of publications had pictures of Heard and Depp while on a trip together to Las Vegas. The actor was promoting his movie "Dark Shadows" while it is unclear why Amber was there.
