Now that Verizon has claimed the Nokia 928 after the official reveal, Nokia is now rolling out another phone that's bound exclusively for one other carrier.

Introducing the Nokia 925, a T-Mobile exclusive phone that beats the Lumia 920 by a long shot, not only in make, but also in performance.

What you'll first notice is its metal make, bringing it to a far finish ahead of the plastic-make Lumia 920. Aside from the material, CNet reports that the Lumia 925 also boasts a feather-light and thin body, with only 0.33 inches and a 4.9-ounce weight to beat its predecessor.

And as it is carried by T-Mobile, those who want a phone with no contracts or strings attached can opt for it, giving you the chance to own a flagship phone that can carry its own weight amid giant competition.

Other features of the Lumia 925, according to The Verge includes a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of storage with variations up to 32 GB, a 4.5-inch OLED display with 1280x768 resolution, and a 1.2-megapixel front camera.

The one letdown with the Lumia 925 is that the camera technology that was showcased in the Lumia 928 will not be found in the newer phone, so you won't be seeing the xenon flash or improved optical image stabilization.

Digital Trends reports that the pixel count is pretty much the same as the Lumia 920, with an 8.7-megapixel rear camera. However, it does feature more advanced lens design.

Given the timing of the reveal of the Nokia Lumia 928 and the Lumia 925, one may wonder why Nokia chose to create two different phone models that share features of Nokia's older model, the Lumia 920.

If Nokia had combined the Lumia 925's sleek overall appearance and the Lumia 928's camera technology, and have it backed with the Lumia 920's overall hardware specs, it may have truly made an outstanding phone to boot.

But then again, Nokia's strategy may be to bring more options for its consumers by focusing on different aspects and improvements on the phones.

Watch out for the Nokia Lumia 925, which is slated for a June release date worldwide.
