Alexander Skarsgard Recreates ‘True Blood’ Nude Scene At The South Pole [PHOTO]
“True Blood” fans are probably already used to Alexander Skarsgard being naked. After all, he is naked a lot of times in the U.S. TV series that viewers aren’t shocked even with his full nudity anymore. But he still managed to surprise everyone with his latest display: his nude self sitting on a toilet at the South Pole.
The 37-year-old Swedish actor has a full frontal nudity scene at the season finale of “True Blood” in August, in which he is seen reading a book while basking in the sun atop a mountain in Sweden.
And for everyone’s enjoyment, Skarsgard recreated the scene when he was in Antarctica for the Walking with the Wounded charity expedition.
Team guide Inge Solheim posted Skarsgard photo on his Instagram account, captioning it with “#southpole – 30C What are you reading Alex? The script for season 7 of #truebloodHBO?”
With only a pair of shades and boots in his person, Skarsgard looks fully immersed in a book while sitting on an outdoor toilet.
The UK-based charity expedition aimed to raise money for wounded soldiers, and involved three teams from the UK, U.S., and Canada/Australia. Skarsgard was part of the Team USA, while British actor Dominic West trekked with Team USA and Prince Harry was with Team UK.
The three teams successfully made it to the South Pole in December, but the trip was called off due to bad weather and dangerous conditions.
Meanwhile, Skarsgard has been confirmed to be back for the seventh and final season of “True Blood” amid speculations that his character, Eric Northman, met his true death at the final episode of the previous season.
