He first met her at the parking lot but ‘Alias’ actor, Michael Vartan did not stop until he tied to the knot with girlfriend, Lauren Skaar.

People.com confirmed that the Vartan married Skaar at a Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, California, where they exchanged vows April 2, Saturday.

Vartan’s co-star, Victor Garber, served as the groom’s man for the wedding which was attended according to UsMagazine by an estimated 150 guests.

A romantic love story was first shared by Vartan in an interview after announcing he’s dating the realtor he met at the parking lot of an L.A Whole Foods in 2009.

"She's my best friend in the world and that's why I asked her to marry me," Vartan was quoted as telling HollywoodLife.com about his bride. "I have more fun with her than with anyone I've ever met. I just woke up one day and could not imagine living without her."

Vartan prides that he never has to put a front whenever he is with his new wife.

"The great thing about her and me," Vartan said, according to UsMagazine, "is that I feel like I can be 100 percent myself."

This is the first marriage for Vartan. Before Skaar, the “Alias” actor secretly dated his co-star, Jennifer Garner who is now happily married to Ben Affleck.

Lauren Skaar according to CelebrityBride.com wore a strapless dress made byVera Wang with a ‘sweetheart neckline and a Swarovski crystal Oscar de la Renta belt’. Vartan waited for his bride in a two-button tuxedo by Giorgio Armani.

Vartan currently stars in TNT’s “Hawthorne”. People said that the honeymoon for the newlyweds has been postponed due to conflict in shooting schedule for his new film. But the groom said that they have been planning for a ‘romantic getaway’ as soon as his schedules are cleared.

"Just bad luck with the timing, but at least we have three months to plan something very romantic," Vartan was quoted as telling People.
