All About Miss Universe 2013 Revealed

On Nov. 9 2013, at this year's 62nd annual Miss Universe beauty pageant, we will witness some of the most beautiful women in the world take the limelight. We have summed up all the things one should know about the contest here.

This year marks the first time that Moscow, Russia will play host to the contest taking place on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2013 at the Crocus City Hall.

Millions of spectators around the globe, meanwhile, can tune into the 2013 Miss Universe pageant when it airs in the U.S. on NBC TV and Telemundo beginning at 8.PM ET.

Last year's winner was Miss U.S.A., Olivia Culpo who brought the Miss Universe crown back to the United States after more than a decade. Miss Philippines, Janine Tugonon, placed second, while Miss Venezuela, Irene Sofia Esser Quintero, placed third.

Featuring more than 80 delegates from around the world, Miss Universe remains one of the world's most watched and most popular beauty pageants.

The Miss Universe pageant began in 1952 as a local bathing beauty competition in Long Beach, CA - and now grown to be a Donald Trump organization showcase that puts the limelight unswervingly on the world's most beautiful women.

The contest includes: evening gown competition (judges pick the Top 10 who go on to show off their best assets), swimsuit competition (from which the Top 5 are chosen) concluding in the crowning of Miss Universe.
