Alleged Secret Audio Of Kanye West Justifying 2009 VMA Taylor Swift Diss Unearthed
Kanye West dissing Taylor Swift at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2009 is probably one of the most, if not the most, memorable WTF moments in the history of the show.
Kanye already said sorry about his rude behaviour, even cried at one of his interviews to show his remorse. However, an audio tape that hears Kanye ranting about the incident has been unearthed, and it appears that all he shed were crocodile tears.
A refresher: At the 2009 MTV VMA, just when Taylor Swift was named the winner for Best Female Video for her single “You Belong With Me,” Kanye got onto the stage and took the mic from her to say, “Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you and Imma let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time. One of the best videos of all time!”

At this point, nothing about Kanye should be shocking anymore. He has already proclaimed himself a genius and even compares himself to Jesus.
But when he apologised again and again for grabbing the mic from Taylor Swift just as the then-19-year-old singer was accepting her award, he had (some) people believe of his sincerity.
Kanye’s emotional apology on Jay Leno’s show:
Apparently, that’s not the case. It was just him acting.
Gawker has obtained an audio recording of Kanye having an impassioned argument with his friends about the incident. He can be heard in the recording that he was fervently justifying interrupting Taylor’s acceptance speech.
The audio was secretly recorded while he was dining with friends after the infamous incident, which took place on September 13, 2009. Gawker doesn’t know for sure that it’s Kanye speaking in the recording, but the Web site truly believes that it was him.
Kanye can be heard in the video that he was, unsurprisingly, saying how great he was for writing his “Run This Town” for a month, and even going back and rewriting a verse for two days just to perfect his craft.
He also maintained that “Taylor cannot win over Beyonce!”
“Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyonce. As long as I’m alive! And if I’m alive, kill me then! As long as I’m alive you’re going to have to deal with it. Because there ain’t gonna be no more motherf****** Elvises with no James Browns.”
Kanye also said that his mother, the late Donda West, died for “this fame s***.”
A female voice in the audio asked, “Why are you so angry? What’s the anger?”
“Because my mother got arrested for the f****** sit-ins. My mother died for this fame sh**! I moved to fu***** Hollywood chasing this s***. My mother died because of this s***. F*** MTV!” Kanye declared passionately.
“It ain’t no love!” he continued after the female insisted. “What the f*** was Pink performing? Don’t nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the f*** Pink perform two songs and I didn’t even get asked to perform ‘Heartless.’ ‘Heartless’ is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter!
“I don’t know that Pink song! But I noticed that she’s pink! They put me in a f***** room and [inaudible].”
Pink’s jaw-dropping performance at the VMA was met with awe and deafening applause. Kanye might not know her Grammy-nominated hit “Sober,” but a lot of people does. In fact, her acrobatic performance was the talk of the town after the show, overshadowed only by Kanye’s shameful behaviour.
