AMA 2013: Miley Cyrus Disappoints with Shaky Voice, Doesn't Twerk, Was It Because of Her Daddy's Presence? [WATCH VIDEO]
Miley Cyrus did not twerk at the 41st American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. She came dressed in a white suit and shocked her fans on the red carpet too.
The 21-year-old singer, who has been known for her controversial dressing sense and racy performances at all previous awards shows, actually gave a not so happening performance at the AMA's.
Miley performed live on "Wrecking Ball" with a shaky voice and there was a lip synching cat too behind her. The American crooner was dresses scantily in a two piece which had image of cats on it. She did no vulgar moves, no smoking on stage or any other moves that screamed controversy. Was it because of her dad country singer Billy Ray Cyrus' presence in the audience? Was he present there to monitor her rebellious daughter's moves?
Miley has been notoriously famous for her controversial performance in Augusts' MTV Video Music Awards where she twerked on Robin Thicke's crotch. Miley again made headlines last month when she smoked a joint on stage at the MTV European Music Awards in Amsterdam.
Looks like Billy Ray Cyrus did not want Miley to create yet another controversial night hence walked the carpet with her daughter this time at the AMA's. Miley was pleasantly surprised to see her dad and even walked the red carpet with him. The two posed for heart warming pictures at the red carpet.
Though Miley did what she could from her side to try and remain in news. The "We Can't Stop" singer wore no bra or a shirt as she came wearing a white suit at the red carpet. Her coat was barely help by a small stitch. The ex-Hannah Montana was scantily dressed during her performance too. She revealed her long legs during her performance and ever turned back to show her shapely behind to the audience as she concluded her AMA performance on "Wrecking Ball."
But her fans have not really liked her performance and it is visible by the comments they are posting on various social media platforms.
"Uh yeah, No. She can't sing. Her voice is pitchy and you can tell she's focused more on standing out and getting attention then trying to capture emotion with her song. It's just really bad. I do give her credit for actually singing as opposed to faking it, but my god. Really awful," writes Emily Pinney on YouTube page of her performance.
