The new MacBook Air proves to be a powerful and chic device at the same time. It is thin, light, durable and portable enough to be taken anywhere. Fourth-generation Intel Core Haswell processor along with Intel HD Graphics 500 assures users that it is one powerful device. The Haswell processor extends the Air's battery life up to 12 hours for the 13.3-inch model. The latest line also offers better storage and faster WiFi connectivity.

Apple's MacBook Air features 802.11ac WIFI which makes it three times faster in terms of connectivity than before. The new flash storage also puts the previous models to shame. Compared to its predecessors, this year's MacBook Air is faster and more responsive.

Other features include two USB 3 and a high-speed Thunderbolt ports. These allow users to connect to their external displays quickly. The new ports also provide a wide range of high peripherals to be attached.

According to a press release, the device or version of the MacBook Air on sale packs 13.3-inch high-resolution display, Intel Core i5 dual-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB of flash memory storage. The device also features the iLife software suite. This provides the latest versions of GarageBand, iMovie and iPhoto.

The Apple MacBook Pro, on the other hand, features third-generation Core architecture and high-speed Thunderbolt I/O. Compared to previous models, the current available MacBook Pro is around 60 percent faster. The Thunderbolt allows people to transfer data fast, extending to 10 GBps. The MacBook Pro is ideal for those looking for a laptop that looks great but also boasts high performance.

Just like other models, the existing or current MacBook Pro sports a precision unibody enclosure made from a block of aluminium. This allows Apple to ensure durability without adding weight. The laptop measures no more than 1 inch thin and weighs no more than 4.5 pounds.

The item features a 13.3-inch LED-backlist glass display. It also includes a glass trackpad using Apple's Multi-Touch technology. Since Apple still needs to include Haswell processors in the MacBook Pro lineup, the current model only offers up to 7 hours of battery life compared to the 12 hours of the latest MacBook Air. Other features include 5 GHz Core i5 dual-core processor, 4 GB RAM and 500 GB hard drive.
