An American DJ is suing singer Taylor Swift after she allegedly accused him of groping her backstage during one of her concerts in 2013. David Mueller wants the “Bad Blood” singer to pay him Au $210,000--the money he lost in his income, after he was fired from his job because of the incident.

The incident allegedly took place when Mueller was working with Colorado radio station KYGO and went to see Swift's concert at Pepsi Center in June 2013, with his girlfriend Shannon Melcher. The two excitedly got clicked with Swift at a meet-and-greet event, CNN reports.

After the photo session, Swift allegedly complained to her security team that Mueller had lifted her “skirt with his hands and grabbed her bottom.” Mueller and Melcher were immediately removed by Swift’s security personnel from the concert venue. The radio DJ, whose radio pseudonym was “Jackson,” was also fired from his job.

Mueller has filed a lawsuit in federal court claiming the accusations are not true and he never touched Swift wrongly. “The contention that Mr. Mueller lifted up Ms. Swift’s skirt and grabbed her bottom, while standing with his girlfriend, in front of Ms. Swift’s photographer and Ms. Swift’s highly trained security personnel, during a company sponsored, VIP, backstage meet-and-greet, is nonsense, particularly given that Ms. Swift’s skirt is in place and is not being lifted by Mr. Mueller’s hand in the photograph,” the lawsuit said, according to CNN.

However, Swift's representative has called Muller's lawsuit as “damning” and said that the radio station was provided with the evidence immediately after the groping incident, based on which the fired Mueller.

According to the Sky News, Mueller had been working in radio for more than two decades and had been photographed with stars such as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey--without incident.
