Co-creator of "American Horror Story" Ryan Murphy confirmed Evan Peters’ return to the fifth instalment of the show via Twitter, saying that he will be waiting in Room 64. The new season of FX’s horror anthology series is subtitled “Hotel” and Peters has said that he finds hotels terrifying.

Peters said in an interview with GoldDerby that he is scared to start working on the new season, as he believes that hotels are terrifying. “… I know that hotels are terrifying and I'm actually very scared to start working on this one. I'm very scared,” he said, adding that the psychological horror film “The Shinning” scared him a lot. He was quick to underline that he does not know if “American Horror Story-Hotel” would be like that, but “anything in the hotel is terrifying.”

“Just the energies … the different energies in the rooms, and I have a feeling that the set are going to be gorgeous this year," Peters said, without revealing details about his role or the new season's plot line.

The production on the 13-episode of “American Horror Story” Season 5 is set to begin this summer. The filming of the upcoming season will take place in Los Angeles and is expected to be set in the modern time. The previous two seasons were filmed in New Orleans.

In addition to Peters, Season 5 will see the return of four AHS alums, including Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates and Angela Bassett. It is not sure if Peters’ real-life fiancée is returning to the show, as she is headlining the new horror-comedy anthology series “Scream Queens,” co-created by Murphy for Fox.

It is confirmed news that Jessica Lange is not returning. Speaking about her departure, Peters said that she will be “definitely” missed. He said that they are “taking off on this journey without our captain.” However, he is confident of reaching the destination.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, Lady Gaga is joining the new season's journey. She has been cast in a series regular role and there are speculations that she is playing the hotel’s heiress. She and Matt Bomer, who has also signed on as a series regular for “Hotel,” have extensive scenes together.

Also joining “American Horror Story” Season 5 cast are Max Greenfield, Cheyenne Jackson, Chloe Sevigny and Wes Bentley. Greenfield, Gaga and Jackson are joining the AHS series cast for the first time.
