'American Horror Story' Update: Ryan Murphy Spills Out Who'll be joining the Cast for Season 2
"American Horror Story" fans should start squealing with delight. Creator Ryan Murphy finally spills out the beans on who's coming back and where the next season will be shot. Though it isn't much of a surprise and fans are already expecting her to come back anyway, Jessica Lange is a sure cast member to join the second season.
What else should everyone be all hyped up about? It's been months without the Tate Langdon fix and the longer people wait, the longer people want more. Thankfully in the most recent talk show, "Watch What Happens", Ryan Murphy blurts out all the details. When asked if Jessica Lange would be making it to the second season, Ryan simply said "Yes." So that answers the burning question everyone had up their sleeves during the last People's Choice Awards. The question now is will she come back as Constance Langdon or as a completely different person.
Another tiny detail given by Murphy is that four other people will be making it to season two. The problem is, he didn't say exactly who. Though fans shouldn't lean on the speculations running around about the Harmons returning, Murphy said so himself they would not be making a comeback.
"I'm in negotiations with four of the people who were on last year's show, and none of them were the Harmons," says Murphy. So AHS fans should cross out the names Taissa Farmiga, Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton on the list of returnees but that leaves room for Evan Peters. For those who wish to see more of the sultry maid, Moira, they'd have to slash her off the list as well since Murphy revealed in earlier reports that the Horror house would no longer be the setting for season two.
"It's gonna be somewhere on the east coast," shares Murphy. "And it's going to be a 'horror institution.'"
If fans need a little bit of mind reboot for this hint then they'd better watch the season titled, "Birth" during the first season of "American Horror Story". It'll give a teensy detail of what fans would find hidden in the season to come.
Wherever the setting may be as long as Tate and Constance Langdon are present then it'll be a sure win season two for "American Horror Story" fans. Here's to keeping fingers crossed until the debut episode on FX this Fall.
