‘America’s Got Talent' 2016 update: Judges pick three wild cards
Top 36 acts advance to live shows in Hollywood
Two dance groups and a soloist magician will be performing live in Hollywood as wild card contenders for the US$1 million (AU$1.3 million) prize for “America’s Got Talent” season 11 .
AGT judges Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, Mel B and Howie Mandel have decided to give Flip, Silva Sveta and Steven Brundage another chance at performing on NBC’s top-rated talent show.
Flip is a dance group composed of teenage girls aged 14 to 17 from Montreal, Canada, while Silva Sveta is a trio multimedia dance performers from Los Angeles, California. Meanwhile, Steven Brundage is a 25-year-old magician from Saratoga Springs, New York.
“It's official!!! I'm am coming back to America's Got Talent as a wild card! Thank you for all the amazing support and helping bring me back!” Brundage said on Facebook.
Flip also took to Facebook the group’s celebration of the big news, “BIG NEWS! We're going to the live show! (We’re) back in the competition!”
Arielle Libertore of Sila Sveta, meanwhile, tweeted “WE ARE LIVE TOMORROW!!!! Watch @nbcagt to catch me dancing with my #silasveta fam!”
NBC will broadcast “America’s Got Talent 2016” maiden live show from Hollywood on Tuesday. "America's Got Talent 2016" airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the US on NBC, but it airs every Saturday in Australia on FOX8.
