Ana Ivanovic Serves Fellow Tennis Players As Flight Attendant During Their Flight To Singapore
Ana Ivanovic, alongside other tennis future stars, champions, and legends, was in Manila for the first leg of the inaugaural team tournament International Premier Tennis League, or IPTL. Recently, Ivanovic played the role of a flight attendant during their flight to Singapore, which the is second city to host the inaugural IPTL tournament.
After the Manila leg, Ivanovic took a private plane together with fellow IPTL players including Serena Williams, Daniel Hantuchova, Marin Cilic, Lleyton Hewitt, Goran Ivanisevic, Nick Kyrgios, Carlos Moya and Tomas Berdych. The players were headed to Singapore for the second stage of the IPTL tournament.
On Dec. 2, Ivanovic posted a picture on Instagram, where she was dressed in a stewardess outfit and serving fellow tennis players Serena Williams and Daniela Hantuchova some drinks while aboard a plane. "Welcome aboard, have a safe flight, #serena #daniela #iptl #goaces," Ivanovic captioned the photo.
Mail Online has more pictures of Ivanovic serving as a flight attendant to her fellow players. In one photo, Ivanovic was seen demonstrating safety talk for the passengers aboard the private plane.
Ivanovic, who finished the 2014 season ranked fitth in the world, plays for the Indian Aces, which includes Roger Federer, Gael Monfils and tennis legend Pete Sampras. The Aces currently lead the team standings with 16 points, followed by the UAE Royals and Manila Mavericks, which are tied with 11 points. The Singapore Slammers currently occupies the last spot with six points.
The Aces continued their impressive run in the IPTL tournament. They won all three of their games in Manila. The team also won its first match on the first day of the Singapore leg on Dec. 2. The Aces won all five sets with combined points of 30 against the Royals' 11.
Ivanovic won the first set after defeating Kristina Mladenovic, 6-2, in women's singles match. In the mixed doubles, Rohan Bopanna and Sania Mirza triumphed over Mladenovic and Nenad Zimonjic, 6-5. Meanwhile, Monfils beat U.S. Open defending champion Marin Cilic in men's singles, 6-1. Aces' coach Fabrice Santoro crushed Ivanisevic in the past champions match, 6-2. The last game was the men's singles. The Aces were represented by Bopanna and Monfils, who trashed Cilic and Zimonjic, 6-1.
