Angelina Jolie's Ex Billy Bob Thronton Gets Married To Connie Angland In A Secret Ceremony--Report
Angelina Jolie’s ex-husband Billy Bob Thronton has married his long time girlfriend Connie Angland. The two reportedly got secretly married in October 2014.
According to US Weekly, the rep has confirmed the news of the couple’s marriage. They exchanged vows on Oct. 22 in a private ceremony. The wedding ceremony reportedly took place in Los Angeles. Billy and Connie have been together for 12 years. Billy reportedly started dating Connie shortly after his divorce from Angelina.
Billy and Connie have a daughter, Bella, together. She is nine-years-old. For Billy, this is the sixth marriage. Connie is a puppeteer and costume artist, who has worked with the special effects crew of "Planet of the Apes,” “Men in Black 1&2” and “Stigmata.”
Billy is reportedly happy with his relationship with Connie. "Particularly like when you're in a celebrity marriage...I had one of those periods, and during that time I found celebrity to be difficult just because of privacy issues. I'm in a good relationship now and have been for 10 years, we have a beautiful daughter." He said in his previous interview on Oprah’s Master Class according to Eonline.
Meanwhile, Billy was married to Angelina from 2000 to 2003. The reason for their divorce is unknown. However, Jolie said in one of her previous interviews that the separation came “as a surprise to her.” She said that one day she found that they (Angelina and Billy) had “nothing in common,” according to Vogue. Angelina is now happily married to Brad Pitt. She has six children with the actor. Angelina dated Brad for almost a decade before walking the aisle. Just like Billy, Angelina also had a secret wedding with Brad.
Meanwhile, Billy’s first wife was Melissa Lee Gatlin. He has one daughter, Amanda, with her. He then married Toni Lawrence in 1986. He was with her till 1988. His other ex-wives except Angelina include Cynda Williams and Pietra Dawn Cherniak. With Pietra, he has two sons, William and Harry. Billy recently clinched the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for “Fargo.”
