Apple is whetting shoppers' appetites for the company's Black Friday sale with a simple Web page that only announces a "one-day Apple Shopping Event".

The one-page ad on Apple's website didn't give further details about the discounts shoppers can expect to find this Friday.

"You'll discover amazing iPod, iPad and Mac gifts for everyone on your list," the ad says, apparently referring to the items that will be on sale the day after Thanksgiving.

The blog 9to5Mac posted specifics about the deals after a trusted tipster passed along the information. The items on sale will range from iPads, iPods, Mac computers to Apple accessories. The Mac line will see the biggest discounts with some models being discounted $101 less. The base level MacBook Air will now start at $898. The iPod nano and iPod touch will be discounted. The iPod nano will cost $11 less for both 8 Gb and 16 Gb storage sizes and the iPod touch will have a range of discounts from $21 to $41 depending on the storage capacity. The iPads will have their prices slashed $41 to $61 again depending on storage capacity.

Shoppers can also get discounts for Apple accessories like the iPad 2 Smart Cover, Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Magic Trackpad. Third party accessories are also on sale like Western Digital hard drives, Jawbone Jambox and more.

There was no mention of a sale on Apple's popular iPhone. The iPhone 4s debuted in early October and sold over four million units just three days after its launch.

Apple has not confirmed these specific deals.
