Apple Inc. (AAPL) continues to launch out new products. Just last week, the tech giant released its two new phones: the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c. This time, Apple has updated its series of iMac desktops. The new iMacs are faster and more efficient thanks to Intel's latest Haswell processors.

Another important improvement is a new set of flash memory storage. As mentioned, the latest iMacs pack on Intel's fourth generatuion, quad-core processors. This features faster and better graphics. Likewise, the new set of desktop computers will also have faster WiFi connection and all new PCIe flash storage.

Apple's continued releases of new products put investor concerns to ease about its company growth. In fact, there are reports that Apple posted a record-breaking first week sales with its new set of handsets. It also does not change the fact about the market's hunger for new iMacs and MacBooks.

Throughout the years, the company has managed to build a standard completely different and differentiated from the rest of the market. Their focus on high-end but high quality devices made them the top choice for many consumers for many years. After a long drought, people are expecting Apple will satisfy their expectations and the long delayed release.

People do not have to wait anymore.

"IMac continues to be the example that proves how beautiful, fast and fun a desktop computer can be," Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, explained in a statement.

The new lineup starts from $1,299 to $1,999 depending on the choice of processor speed, screen size and additional features. Screen sizes include 21.5-inch and 27-inch screens.

Key features of the new iMacs include:

-quad-core Intel Core i5 processors up to 3.4 GHz

-optional quad-core Intel Core i7 processors up to 3.5 GHz

-21.5-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology

-1,920 x 1,080 resolution or 27-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology; 2,560 x 1,440 resolution

-Intel Iris Pro on base 21.5-inch model, NVIDIA GeForce GT 700 series graphics including a maximum of 4 GB of video memory

-8 GB (two 4 GB) of 1600 MHz DDR3 memory, configurable up to 32 GB

-1 TB (5,400-rpm) hard drive

- 802.11ac WiFi wireless networking

The hard drive can be configured up to 3TB hard drive, 1TB or 3TB Fusion Drive. People also have the option to choose 256 GB, 512 GB or 1 TB of flash storage. As mentioned, iMacs now use PCIe storage.
