Apple iPad Air 3 will be small edition of iPad Pro
Recently, when an image of the iPad Air 3 case had surfaced, some of the features of the much awaited tablet was revealed too. Now, an alleged drawing of the iPad Air 3 has cropped up. It indicates that its appearance will be quite similar to the 12.9-inch Apple iPad Pro.
According to Engadget, a new drawing of the iPad Air 3 has revealed its dimensions. The publication has claimed that the tablet will borrow some features from the iPad Pro. The iPad Air 3 will be equipped with quad stereo speakers that will deliver amazing sound output.
It will also feature a Smart Connector that will let users to use accessories like Smart Keyboard with the iPad Air 3. It is likely to arrive with support for a stylus. It is also expected to feature an LED flash for the rear camera. For the first time, an iPad would be featuring a flash.
The iPad Air 3 will be thicker and wider by 0.05 mm and 0.1 mm, respectively than the predecessor model. It means that the soft cases that were designed for the iPad Air 2 will also fit its successor. However, the hard cases of iPad Air 2 may cause some damage to the chassis of the iPad Air 3.
The Apple iPad Air 3 will be arriving with a 9.7-inch screen. It won’t be carry support for 3D Touch but is expected to support higher resolution than the iPad Air 2. The Apple A9X chipset and 4 GB of RAM that are present under the hood of the iPad Pro will be powering the iPad Air 3 tablet.
Even though the Cupertino company is silent on the iPad Air 3 release date, speculations are rife that it will be announced in the next month. The upcoming launch event may also unveil a newer edition of Apple Watch and the 4-inch iPhone 5se smartphone.
