The Apple iPhone 6 release date is fast approaching, as far as the buzz in tech websites is concerned. People are hearing jokes and speculations about an iPhone 6C (in relation to the cheaper iPhone 5C) and an iPhone 6L (this time, "L" means "large" for the rumoured big-screen variant). Those who are second guessing themselves about the supposedly upcoming new iPhone should know three things.

Known blogs on Apple iPhone updates, such as 9to5Mac.com, are saying the next iPhone could be coming out in September or October this year. There may even be two release dates for the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 variant, and the bigger 5.5-inch option.

On Twitter, some users talk about an upcoming iPhone 6C as if it has been confirmed. Apple, however, has yet to announce an official release date. Still, the Wall Street Journal earlier picked up a report that the Cupertino-based company is "expected" to unveil the new iPhones in an event on Sept. 9.

Mashable recently discussed the possibility of an Apple iPhone 6C or iPhone 6L. The Sydney Morning Herald runs the story here.

"[I'm] havin THIRD thoughts bout the iphone 6c am sorry mom maybe ill be a loyal android user ill im 25," says one user on Twitter. (See this and more tweets below.)

Potential iPhone 6 Buyer and Confused already? Three Things to Ask Yourself!

Phone shoppers who are remotely considering buying the supposedly soon-to-be launched iPhone (for whatever reason) should answer three basic questions:

Can I pay for the iPhone 6 on a mobile plan or off-contract without hurting my budget? The price and store availability of a new gadget are typically announced during unveiling. Price is a very important consideration when phone shopping, so potential buyers have to be objective in answering this question.

Am I comfortable in the iOS environment? The Twitter user above seems to prefer the Android operating system (KitKat 4.4.4 now running in many devices). Switchers should avoid buyer's remorse by trying the iOS first. (No need to be an early adopter in case the iPhone 6 does come out.) One of the many reasons for the Android to Apple switch, however, is the Apple App Store.

What will I do with the new iPhone 6? Check out "Apple iPhone 6 Release Date Update: 6 Most Wanted Feature Upgrades for Next iPhone" here. Phone shoppers who should get the new iPhone 6 on release date should know why they really want one, in the first place. Some Apple fans, however, do not need any other reason. They simply must have the next new iPhone.
