The Apple iPhone 6 release date is fast approaching and the most recent rumor indicates that the handset is all set to get announced on September 9. According to a French website, Nowhere Else that has a good track record of revealing news about Apple products has also confirmed that the iPhone 6 will be introduced to the world on September 9.

New iPhone 6 leaked images have surfaced along with its retail box from uneedtech.com. The new images that are present on the website do show the iPhone 6 from different angles. However, if you look at the images carefully, you may come to think that they are fake.

One of the images shows the iPhone 6 with different apps on its screen. However, the icons do not appear genuine. Apple iPhones have always been praised for their appearance but the one that we can see in the newly leaked images appears quite unpolished. It may be a dummy handset or pre-production model.

According to China Unicom, the iPhone 6 will be available for purchase from September 16 and 19 or within a period of week of getting announced. The French tech site, Nowhere Else has published a new image that appears like a promotional event material. It has the iPhone 6 announcement date mentioned on it. Nowhere Else had accurately revealed that the iPhone 5S would feature fingerprint Touch way before it is released.

The iPhone 6 is expected to come out in two size variants, namely 4.7 inch iPhone 6 and 5.5 inch iPhone 6L. Most of the iPhone 6 rumors on the internet talk about the 4.7 inch device. It is speculated that the device will be supporting a display resolution of 960 x 1,704 pixels.

The iPhone 6 will be running iOS8 and the new 64-bit A8 processor, which is a dual-core chip that delivers around 2GHz of processing speed. Nowhere Else has also confirmed that the iPhone 6 will be available in a storage size of 128GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Alpha is the South Korean tech giants attempt to take on the 4.7 inch iPhone 6. The Samsung Galaxy Alpha pre-orders starts on August 27 and it will be available for purchase on September 12. It sports a 4.7inch Super AMOLED HD display, a very beautiful metal design, fingerprint sensor, 2GB RAM, Android v4.4.4 KitKat and Exynos 5 octa-core 5430 processor along with Mali-T628 MP6 graphics.
