Apple MacBook Pro 2016 release date, news & update: Device’s battery life could be improved significantly
After iPhone 7, the Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is definitely one of the most-anticipated devices from the Cupertino-based tech giant. Fans have been waiting for the device since WWDC in June.
Reports are flooding the Internet with fan expectations, rumours and speculations regarding its specs and features. However, Apple has been silent all this while and has not made any official statement.
If such reports are to be believed, Apple will unveil the MacBook Pro 2016 in October itself. The company had promised earlier that there would be a 25 percent increase in speed in the MacBook Pro 2016. But that would require a powerful processor. Apple may go with the Intel Skylake processor that is also present in the 12-inch MacBook 2016.
A powerful chip will open up possibilities for added features on the Apple MacBook Pro 2016. The device’s battery life will also improve to a great extent. Moreover, Apple will reportedly upgrade the MacBook Pro 2016’s battery too, writes iTech Post.
A lighter and thinner MacBook Pro 2016 is expected this year. If KGI Securities Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo’s predictions are correct, the device will not only be thinner and lighter but also have a flatter keyboard.
The rumoured OLED touch bar is expected to be a game-changer of sorts. It will replace the functions keys and sit atop the keyboard. Internally it is known as the Dynamic Function Row and it will have different functions depending on the program bring run by the user.
The Apple MacBook Pro 2016 is believed to be released on Oct. 27 along with the new iMac 2016. There is a chance that the device will sport a 4K screen and AMD Polaris graphics processor.
