Apple's March 9 event continues to draw attention as expectations and predictions about its upcoming products remain on the rise. Several Apple products are expected to hit the market this year: Apple Watch, iOS 9, 12-inch Retina MacBook Air, 2015 MacBook Pro, iPhone 6s and the iPhone 7. The question now boils down to what product will Apple be unveiling or discussing in the upcoming event?

According to the Wall Street Journal, there are high chances that the special event on the said date will be the company's "coming out" party for the Apple Watch. Apple did confirm previously that the device will go on sale around April thus the March announcement coincides.

As with the announcement, people can expect Apple's event to start around at 10 a.m. at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco. Previously, Apple dished out the details of its watch during its September event. Analysts expect the company to go deeper into the specifications and features of the watch in the event.

According to The Wall Street Journal, Apple's presentation will be looking into answering and defining the purpose of the wearable device. After all, it will be the first of its kind to launch under the company. Whereas the company did not mention the watch directly, Wall Street points out the watch clues to its event. For instance, Apple's invitation says "Spring Forward" and considering one day prior to the event marks daylight savings.

For people doubting whether the market will patronize the watch, assistant professor of English at West Chester University of Pennsylvania Jordan Schugar, Ph.D. notes: “Look at the history of the iPad. At first, people didn’t really want to use them, but now they’re in tons of homes and tons of schools.”
