Apple’s CEO Tim Cook recently confirmed that the Apple Watch will be available at Apple’s retail stores by June in multiple countries across the globe. Cook confirmed the availability of Apple Watch in its retail stores when he recently met the employees at Apple’s China headquarters, according to reports.

Apple’s Retail Chief Angela Ahrendts had first shared a hint about Apple’s plan to sell the smartwatch in Apple retail stores by the end of May, reports Mac Rumors.

Apple had warned about limited supply of the smartwatch that was available for pre-orders on April 10, reported Tech Times. Apple had also announced that Apple Watch will not be available in-store on April 24, which was the date scheduled for the launch of smartwatch, as per the Tech Times report.

Apple was accepting orders for the Apple Watch online, so that Apple Watch enthusiasts have a better ordering experience without waiting for long time outside Apple’s stores, according to Mac Rumors report. The publication also points out that limited supply of the Apple Watch and faulty taptic engines produced by a China based supplier could have affected the timely availability of Apple Watch.

Apple has also allowed some of the major fashion outlets across the world sell the Apple Watch to customers, reports Mac Rumors. Maxfield in Los Angeles, California is the only retail location in the United States that has the Apple Watch in stock, mentions the Mac Rumors report.

Apple has been trying to overcome supply issues with many Apple Watch orders shipping out ahead of the estimated delivery dates, as reported by Mac Rumors. Apple Watches with the Link Bracelet, Leather Loop and the Modern Buckle that are reported to be available in limited stock, have begun shipping to consumers. Common models like the Apple Sport’s shipping estimates have shown slight improvement, according to Mac Rumors report that suggests that there will be sufficient stock to begin in-store sales in June.

According to a report on 9 to 5 Mac, a part of the reason for Cook’s visit to China was to meet potential China Apple Pay partners. According to Tim Cook, Apple has made progress on Apple Pay in China and with different people and banks involved, he hopes that he launch of Apple Pay will happen soon in China, reports 9 to 5 Mac.
