Apple Watch vs. Moto 360 vs. Huawei Watch: Killer Smartwatches Faceoff
The Apple Watch has recently been unveiled at a special event in San Francisco. In the meantime, the widely-popular Motorola Moto 360 is one of the strong competitors in the smartwatches arena. Plus, Huawei has also released a new smartwatch named the Huawei Watch. Therefore, it’s time to pit all the three smartwatches against each other.

Android Headlines states that the Moto 360 is the only smartwatch among the three that can be purchased across the globe. While the Apple Watch release date is pegged for April 24 and the pre-order date reportedly commences on April 10, the Huawei Watch release date has not been revealed by the company yet.

The Motorola Moto 360 can be purchased for $249.99, whereas the Apple Watch price reportedly starts at $349. Interestingly, unlike other smartwatches, the Apple Watch comes as three different variants and they are the Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch (Basic) and Apple Watch Edition, according to Apple. The high-end Apple Watch Edition adorned in custom rose or yellow 18-carat gold will set the buyers back by a whopping $10,000 in the U.S. Meanwhile, the Apple Watch standard variant will reportedly cost between $549 and $1,099 price range. On the other hand, the Huawei Watch can now be purchased in Europe for 999 euro that roughly translates to $1,080 via Amazon.

Engadget says, the Apple Watch features a 1.32-inch or 1.5-inch Retina display bundled with an optional sapphire screen, whereas the Moto 360 comes with a 1.56-inch LCD display and the Huawei Watch settles for a 1.4-inch AMOLED display. Under the hood, the Huawei device is reportedly powered by a Qualcomm SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz and backed by 512 MB of RAM, while the Apple Watch apparently uses an Apple S1 processor and the Moto 360 comes powered by a TI OMAP 3 processor with 512 MB of RAM.
Furthermore, the similarity between the Moto 360 and the Huawei Watch is the OS housed in the devices i.e. Android Wear. On the other hand, the Apple Watch apparently runs on iOS.
Speaking of battery configuration, although Apple has not revealed the capacity at this point, the tech giant says the Apple Watch can offer up to 18 hours of battery life. The Moto 360, meanwhile, comes equipped with a 320 mAh battery unit, whereas the Huawei Watch has 300 mAh unit on board.
When it comes to internal storage capacity, the Apple Watch leads the pack with 8 GB of memory, while the Moto 360 and the Huawei Watch settle for 4 GB. But more importantly, all three watches come with water-resistant exterior.
