Ashton Kutcher stepped on the stage at the Teen Choice Awards 2013 looking his normal self and then gave a speech that befitted a sanguine man -- which is quite abnormal considering his image. He talked about opportunity and being smart, generous and thoughtful. The speech sounded heavily inspired by late Apple founder and CEO Steve Jobs's speech at Stanford in 2005.

Kutcher is playing the legendary man in the movie 'Jobs', which is a biopic based on Steve Jobs' biography 'Steve Jobs', written by Walter Isaacson. In his commencement address at Stanford, Mr Jobs had famously said, "Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish."

At Teen Choice Awards 2013, Kutcher talked about opportunity, being sexy and living life. He said that there are a lot of insider secrets in Hollywood that keep the career going, like Ashton is his middle name and Chris is his first name, and which make him feel like a "fraud."

"There are really amazing things that I learned when I was Chris," he said, adding that he wanted to share those things with the audience. The three things, Kutcher said, are "opportunity, about being sexy and living life."

Kutcher said he believes that "opportunity look a lot like hard-work" and talked about the various random jobs that he did before becoming an actor. "Every other job I had was a stepping stone to my next job." He never quit his job despite being better than the job he was asked to do, until he got the next job.

"The sexiest thing in entire world is being really smart and being thoughtful, and being generous." Everything else is Cr**, I promise you" that others sell to make people feel small.

The third thing he re-learned while working on the movie 'Jobs'. He said that life can be more than the regular set routine about getting a good education, a good job, making some money and having a family.

"Life can be much broader than that when you realise one simple thing and that everything around us we call life is made up of people no smarter than you. You can build your own things. You can build your own life that other people can live in."

"So, build a life, don't live one," Kutcher said. "Build one!"

"Find your opportunities and always be sexy!"
