‘The Bachelorette Australia’ star Sam Frost debuts on 2DayFM with Rove McManus
“The Bachelorette Australia” star Sam Frost made her debut on Nov. 9, Monday, as co-host of Rove McManus in the breakfast show of 2DayFM. During her first day on the show, she shared an embarrassing experience with “The Bachelorette Australia” runner-up Michael Turnbull.
Frost talked about an incident while filming a sequence of “The Bachelorette Australia.” She said she was whale-watching date with Turnbull when she wet herself.
“I jumped off the boat onto the ground,” Frost told McManus. “The pressure made me a little bit wee in my pants. No, I actually wet my pants.”
Having “The Bachelorette Australia” star share an embarrassing experience with Turnbull was "crudely effective" when it comes to getting the attention 2DayFM needs to generate for the breakfast show, according to Sydney Morning Herald. The station started to struggle when Jackie Henderson and Kyle Sandilands left at the end of 2013 and moved to KIIS 1065.
After Frost’s story about whale-watching date with Turnbull, “The Bachelorette Australia” star and McManus talked about moths eating clothes and a new fitness craze in China for walking on all fours.
Frost and McManus also conducted an interview with “Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole” voice star Deborra-Lee Furness about an adoption campaign she is overseeing. Furness and her husband, “ X-Men: Days of Future Past” star Hugh Jackman, have two adopted children.
Days prior to Frost’s first day as the co-host of McManus in the breakfast show of 2DayFM, Frost and Sasha Mielczarek made their first public appearance on Nov. 3 at the races in the Myer marquee. Frost chose Mielczarek over Turnbull and Richie Strahan during the “The Bachelorette Australia” finale on Oct. 22.
“It’s so great to be out there and not have to hide,” Frost told the Herald Sun. “I couldn’t even say his name before so this is amazing.”
