'Bates Motel' season 4 episode 6 spoilers: A man threatens to expose Norma’s incestuous relationship

In Season 4 Episode 6 of “Bates Motel,” Norma (Vera Farmiga) will find out about Caleb’s (Kenny Johnson) whereabouts.

Previously, Chick (Ryan Hurst) discovered that Norma and Caleb had an incestuous relationship in the past. The ex-con wanted to have revenge against Caleb for all the wrong that he did to him before and demanded Norma, the motel owner, to look for her brother/former lover for him. Chick threatened Norma that if she fails to locate Caleb in time, he will expose her big secret.

"Norman uncovers painful truths as his therapy progresses; Norma works to prevent a secret from being revealed; Romero (Nestor Carbonell) assists an old friend despite the risk to his career," according to the episode synopsis on IGN.

In the promo video, Norma discovers where Caleb is currently working – a bar. They talk on the phone and Caleb seemed surprised to hear from her again. However, Norma, may not immediately tell Chick about Caleb’s location. She may decide to deal with him by herself. At Pineview Institute, Dr. Edwards (Damon Gupton) wanted Norman (Freddie Highmore) to get more details about his father, Sam (David Cubitt). Norman, who was diagnosed with Dissociative Identity Disorder, suddenly had a vision of his mother, Norma, and told the doctor that she does not want him to talk.

The clip also showed how Norma and Sheriff Romeo had an initially blissful marriage. However, their relationship will be challenged when someone appears. Norma was shown screaming at someone on a bridge who will destroy her life. She was most likely talking to Chick.

Chick and Rebecca will be causing trouble to the couple. Sheriff Romero will also risk his career when he tries to save his old friend. Romero’s presence will actually bother Norman and a contest may start between the two. Norman may end up killing his own mother. Norma will have to give more time to Norman, although their closeness may be perceived by the latter as romantic.

Season 4 Episode 6, titled “The Vault,” will air on April 18 on A&E in the US and on Fox in Australia. More updates and details are expected soon.
